Shutters and shades, Carlsbad, California
Light, on your terms.
For 30 years, Pacific Shutters & Shades has helped Carlsbad homes get the light right, with the full line of Hunter Douglas window treatments, measured and installed by people who do this every day.
What we carry
Every window, dressed properly.
Shutters, shades, shadings, and drapery from the Hunter Douglas line, chosen in person rather than guessed at from a screen.
Plantation shutters
The classic Carlsbad choice. Louvers tilt from full view to full privacy, and the frames are built to fit the window, not just cover it.
Duette Honeycomb Shades
Honeycomb cells that soften light and add insulation at the window, in hundreds of colors, textures, and fabrics.
Silhouette Window Shadings
Sheer fabric with soft vanes inside, so daylight comes through diffused while the room keeps its privacy.
Luminette Privacy Sheers
Sheer drapery panels for wide windows and sliding doors, with vanes that rotate for light control.
Provenance Woven Wood Shades
Natural woven woods and grasses for coastal rooms, with the texture of the material doing the decorating.
PowerView Automation
Motorized blinds, shades, and drapery that move by remote, schedule, or voice, including hands-free drapery control.
Custom drapery with Carole Fabrics
Motorized custom drapery in distinctive fabrics, made to hang alone or layered with shutters or shades.
Showroom and shop-at-home
See it, feel it, operate it first.
Choosing a window treatment is hard from a photo. The showroom holds full-size interactive displays you can open, close, and tilt before you decide. Prefer to decide at home? Their design team brings the same process to your living room.
Once you choose, measuring and installation experts come to your home to make sure the fit is exact.
Hundreds of choices, one right answer per window.
Wood blinds, woven woods, and drapery fabrics, narrowed down with a designer, not a catalog.
